AAM's World Headquarters is located near many of our major customers which helps us provide excellent communication and responsiveness on top of our world-class products. This facility houses a multitude of business functions, working with all of our facilities around the world to deliver superior driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems, metal formed products and services.

AccuGear®, Inc. is dedicated to advanced-process forging and precision finishing in the manufacture of gears and other net-shaped forged components. AccuGear® technologies and products include cold and warm forging of net-shaped differential gears, machining of net-shaped differential gears, forging and machining of constant velocity joint inner races and forging of net-shaped brake components. Additional products include suspension sockets, trunnions, airbag components and transmission gears. On-site metallurgical testing, ranging from chemistry validation through macro-etching and hardness testing, help assure the highest levels of precision quality.

AAM's Quality Engineering Technical Center, is responsible for the production of AAM's prototype assemblies to support global launches. The QETC also facilitates AAM's Warranty Engineering and analysis functions. The facility's manufacturing capabilities include low volume assembly, welding development and validation of a variety of products from passenger car power transfer units through commercial vehicle tandem axles.

Colfor Manufacturing produces forged and finished machined transmission shafts, hypoid drive pinions, propeller shafts, transmission gears and wheel spindles among other products. Colfor specializes in precision cold and warm forging with full capability to finish machine and heat treat. The Colfor facilities contribute to AAM's product line, providing both customer and product diversification in supplying products to the automotive, agricultural, motorcycle and heavy truck markets.

DieTronik™ is a precision machining manufacturing company.  DieTronik™ manufactures tooling for the metal forming and plastic injection mold industries, as well as low-volume production runs of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

AAM's Fort Wayne Engineering Center, located in the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), focuses on commercial vehicle engineering and technical support for existing and potential new customers. In addition, the geographic proximity to the renowned and respected  Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) campus allows AAM to leverage the technical resources available at the university.

AAM's Guanajuato Manufacturing Complex is a 2009 Shingo Prize winner. This facility manufactures rear-axle assemblies, propeller shafts, driveline systems and forging components that are unmatched in quality and cost efficiency.

AAM's Lancaster Manufacturing Facility is a regionally located welding and assembly facility that serves the commercial vehicle market with rear tandem axles.

Using the latest manufacturing concepts and a world-class quality operating system, MSP Industries provides the highest value in automotive metal formed products for powertrain, driveline and chassis applications. MSP has served as a technology pioneer in several advanced processes including: closed-die flashless warm forging, lean manufacturing techniques and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

The Oxford Forge Facility is a leading supplier of axle shaft and ring gear forgings to the global marketplace. This facility applies lean enterprise methodologies and minimal use of resources in creating value for all of its stakeholders. Products include full-float and semi-float axle shafts, rolled ring gears, splined and flanged forgings for truck shafts and other automotive forgings.
