AAM Featured in Nissan TITAN Product Video

American Axle & Manufacturing’s high-performance Driveline technology is featured in a new Nissan TITAN and TITAN XD product video on Nissan USA’s official YouTube channel.

The video highlights key features of the TITAN and TITAN XD including engines, towing capacity, performance and other capabilities. AAM’s front and rear axles and differentials are called out in the video.

AAM supplies front and rear axles and differentials for the TITAN and TITAN XD. Designed and validated specifically for the TITAN, AAM’s axles are optimized for industry-leading quality, performance and superior noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).

The purpose-built axle includes a rear ring gear that measures 9.76 inches with 3.5-inch axle tubes for TITAN XD and ring gear of 9.25” with 3.25” tubes for TITAN. Both rear axles are specialty coated to distribute heat evenly and increase the long-term durability of the axle. The front axle on the TITAN also has a disconnect system to assist in fuel economy.

AAM’s axles are available in a wide range of sizes, gear ratios and differential configurations. They are designed to adapt easily to various track widths and are built to withstand the toughest vehicle conditions.
